I will wright this one in Inglish as I’m a Swede living in Grancanaria....
I bought cheap my Raptor with a small wreck at the rear at the bike.
The subframe was bent, dme box busted and the saddle was cracked.

Next step was to make some thing fun and drivable at my local favourite mountain roads.
So bought a RSV swingarm and beguin to fit it to the bike, I found a lot of info on internet so it was easy

Next step was to take care of the chassis and the bent subframe.
My first ide was to leave the original, but as I didn’t like the lineament that the fuel tank make de with th seat I preferred make my own subframe

really cool tank-style and colors Smile and I also like the look of your seat, although it doesn't look very comfortable Wink
But I liked the frame more when it was all yellow, the black brace beneath the seat feels like a breach of style.
very individual anyway, have fun with it! [Bild: lachende-smileys-021.gif]

Thank you?
You our are right about the brace doesn’t look in place!
It’s just a sticker as I had to change a weld the changing place of the passenger foot rest, I just haven’t had time to paint it again...
The Spanish MOT as if not it doesn’t go true as the Spanish law saw that the passenger have to have something to grab that’s way the bit ugly seat strap.
please see my ugly MOT kit that I have to use to make the bike “street legal” Cool

I’m gone use the bike to go to work daily so Diablo super corsa it’s not  a good option

Buenos días

I’m making a new design on the seat cover as the one the photo isn’t the one I want.
I have been using the bike as daily and weekends and I really have a great time with it, It’s not a good bike for hi-ways fue to vibrations and loud exhaust bit at our mountain roads it’s the king.
I have to have a look on Fuel consumption as it’s to very high, and bike is making a lot off exhaust explosions and flames ? (to be honest I like it).

Hola Amigo,
the exhaust explosions are mostly a problem of an leak in the exhaust system or a loosen screw on the outlet. At least thats was the reason on my bike.
The gas consumption should be between 5,5 to 7,5 Liters. Depends on the way you drive Big Grin .
My project for the winter is to get some more horsepower out of my motor. I talked with Bike office Bingen(German SV1000 specialist) and so i bought two inlet cam shafts which will be installed instead of the outlet.
They will also make an adjust of the ECU motor stearing and a mofification to the air box.
So i hope to get more torque and at least 15-20hp more. We will see Rolleyes .
Have a good time with your bike.[Bild: thumbsup.png]

Against boring wintertime. His hp is old, but he testet a lot of different modifications:
http://www.g-staks.de/html/datenblatt.html

http://www.g-staks.de/html/tipps_tricks.html

You also can get some inspiration on wiki:
http://www.luboeinski.de/cagivaonline.de.../index.htm

@El
Exchange your exhaust connector - 14771-02F00-000
Nr: 6 on the picture
https://www.oemmotorparts.com/oem5.asp?M...4_-2100726

otherwise deactivate the secundary air system, but I think you already did it, didn´t you?
If you need camshafts for the outlet - just let me know. I have a pair inlet TLS camshafts, already pressed for the outlet.
For your fuel consumption read the wiki and buy a powercommander.

Thank you very much for the info?
I have been thinking about making a new fuel tank that can take a ramair and better airbox system.
As I have been working making composite parts for racing cars during years it have some knowledge making light parts.

Composite tank for and ducati café

Just made for fun at home with out any special tools

How it’s look

My idea is to make the ramair intake using the original shape (in red) making this a little bit bigger.
This way the tank still look like a Raptor.

Hola Amigo,
do you think that it is worth while to make a ram air system to a motor bike that runs on the canary islands mostly between 50 and 150km/H? A really effect you will get up on from 200km/h. At 100km/h you will hardly get 1-2 hp more if it really works well.

https://www.kainzinger.com/downloads/psa...irtest.pdf

Here is a test of different ram air systems made by a german motor bike tuning specialist.

But not every thing has to make sens. If you want to make it do it. Wink

As I want I always wanted to make a new light weight tank why not with air intake!
I will also make a carbon rear chassis and put on lighter wheels.

If you consider the price of a used Raptor and the good base it is, why waist 12-20.000€ in a new bike that everyone has?

If I spend another 5000€ in the Raptor it’s still cheap and very fun to ride!

To be ad on the bike

450€ used (2000km) Öhlins STX supersport
1300€ used (10.300km) Öhlins Forks, uprights, callipers Ducati 1098s

Later some lighter wheels

Hola Amigo,
I am always surprised about your ability working on cars and Motorbikes. Your far over my ability. So continue and make these improvements to your bike. Money is not important. That will be a unique bike which has much more value than any other that you can buy.[Bild: thumbsup.png]

Hi I have to open up my engine as the rear cylinder has a strange metalic sound...
As I have the engine open why not change for some hi compression pistons!
I have just find for the TLR do they fit right in?
I have been looking at Wiseco, JE and https://www.spearsenterprises.com/sv1000-tl1000.html

Do you have anything to recommend?
